Springdale's breathtaking views and playful mountain terrain amuses and challenges golfers of all levels. Measuring over 6,800 yards from the tips, Springdale is not a challenge to be taken lightly, especially our 429-yard fourth hole, aptly dubbed the "Springdale Spasm" In the summer of 1968 Springdale Country Club was born. What had once been a working farm-school operated in conjunction with Columbia University was now the site of Western North Carolina's newest golf course community. Over the years, Springdale has grown into a full-service golf resort and community. The resort is still owned and operated by the Tingle family who has lived at Springdale since its debut over 35 years ago.
